Veal calves. A new experimental station

Celtilait is investing in research in the veal calf sector. A specialist experimental station has been created in Côtes d’Armor (Britanny), trebling our rearing and nutritional development capacities. The aim of this investment is to develop our expertise in the exploitation of dairy protein and animal feed. The facilities will allow more targeted checking of growth performance and feed efficiency. It will also be possible to explore new indicators linked to sustainability in farming. With the ability to manage as many as four different feeds for starting, growth and finishing, the aim is to fine-tune the feeds we have designed with our customers, to meet the specific needs of their own farming operations and to innovate!
