COLOSTRUM. A new European production unit

Ouest Elevage and the CER Group have joined forces to create a new company: ECI (European Colostrum Industry). ECI, located in Belgium, is engaged in the collection, processing and sale of bovine colostrum in various forms. ECI collects first-milking colostrum across a number of European countries, the amount paid for it depending on its antibody content. Since the end of 2020, ECI has brought its new colostrum unit into service, located in Aye (Marche-en-Famenne). Both liquid (frozen) and powdered products are produced there, either atomised (MSD tower) or freeze-dried. Ouest Elevage, through its Oriane range, develops and sells colostrum-based products for animal health and nutrition markets.
